Finals of the European Muaythai Championships

28 September, 2014 Finals of the European Muaythai Championships will take place at Krakow Arena. The most significant event in muaythai on our continent will be held alongside with the social campaign “European Against Drugs Festival”.

Final bouts, planned to be held in the last day of the Championships, will take place in Poland – at Krakow Arena. Qualifying bouts will precede them in hall of the Academy of Physical Culture and will take place since 23 September. 35 countries have confirmed their participation which altogether make up about 600 athletes.

The Final Gala of the European Championships 2014 is planned to be held at Krakow Arena on 28 September with the bouts starting at 18.00. Eight final bouts will be held for the title of the European Champion.

MUSIC SHOW
MATEUSZ ZIÓŁKO
who possess an extraordinary voice will perform moving songs dedicated to the topic of the European Muaythai Championships.

DRUŻYNA MISTRZÓW – SPORT  MUSIC  PASSION
Specially produced anthem will be performed in the rhythm of hip-hop to expose the European Muaythai Championships. Other popular songs will be played live as well.

DJ GROMEE
GROMEE is a Krakow DJ, producer, re-mixer, author of lyrics and music collector. Author of the recording „You Make Me Say” will play live for us.

PREMIERE OF THE HONORARY ANTHEM
preparation of the anthem was entrusted to the Musical Academy in Krakow. We are looking forward of its premiere at the Final Gala. The music was prepared with 4 classical musical instruments.

SHADOW THEATRE FIREFLIES (Finalists Got a Talent)
will present the history of city Krakow and development of muaythai in Europe prepared by the team from Ukraine.

ROYAL PERFORMANCE GROUP FROM THAILAND “MUAYTHAI LIVE”
It is going to be a unique opportunity to see the performance of this legendary group in Poland live. They will come from Thailand with the express purpose to become a part of European Championships.

8 FINAL BOUTS FOR THE TITLE OF EUROPEAN MUAYTHAI CHAMPION
It is going to be 16 out of 600 athletes which will go through elimination bouts and will compete for the title of the EUROPEAN MUAYTHAI CHAMPION.

BOUT OF THE NIGHT
World Champion from Krakow RAFAL SIMONIDES VS CHAMPION FROM THAILAND. Bout according to ANCIENT RULES FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS BELT OF WORLD MUAYTHAI COUCIL (WMC) “MUAYTHAI AGAINST DRUGS”.

The bout is done in the special ropes used instead of gloves!!!
