Superheroes in concert – is much more than a film music concert. Symphonic music, movie superheroes, choreography, high quality graphics and virtual reality combined together create a groundbreaking spectacle.

Superheroes in concert is no ordinary film music concert dedicated to characters from comics or superhero movies. These are undoubtedly unique productions that shine triumphs in recent years, but unfortunately – works that are finished (and formula-locked). Combining music suites authored by Oscar® and Grammy awards winners, such as Hans Zimmer or Alan Silvestri, with fragments of films for which they were written, would be only a half-measure, which we deliberately rejected.

Instead, we offer something very special. We combine original music scores presented on stage by 120 musicians, known from movies about superheroes such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, Transformers, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man and The Avengers with action- and love-themed stories that are depicted using superb digital graphics and choreography.

Skills of people involved play a vital role in the process of acquiring the highest quality material possible. Therefore the choreography to more than a dozen suites the concert comprises of was prepared by Bartek Wójcik, choreographer and dancer, You Can Dance! finalist. He is accompanied during romantic scenes by Julia Adamczyk, an acknowledged dancer, also well-known from You Can Dance!. Studio-recorded and post-produced, the choreography will be then displayed on LED screens, interplaying with the rest of the concert elements.

Like the picture inspires a portrait painter, so did the flexibility of the human body and the movement of the dancers during the process of creating a series of unique graphics and animations. The result is captivating – images grasping the most important scenes of music and dance plot in comic-like fashion. A LED screen of almost 120 sqm size – the biggest one yet for these kind of productions in Poland – will serve as a perfectly prepared canvas for the digital artwork.

But that’s not all there is to this groundbreaking event.

For those who seek for revolutionary novelties we have a real treat. Two alternate realities – fantastic one (film superheroes captured in breathtaking graphics) and “material” one (expressed by the dancers’ movement recording) will be further reflected in virtual reality (VR). Using special goggles during selected concert suites we will transfer the audience to the world, where one sees broader and feels more intense.

Superheroes in concert is a project where first impressions are not enough and can be misleading, it’s definitely far more than (only) a film music concert. Various and technically diverse imaginations of the main themes combined in one superhero notion create the world’s first and unique spectacle of such intensity and diversity.
